The Moon Has Risen, and the Feast Begins ✨
Eid Mubarak to everyone reading this! Whether you are celebrating with a massive family gathering, catching up with old friends over a plate of biryani, or simply enjoying a quiet, restful day off, I hope your day is filled with peace and light.
There is a unique shift in the air when Eid morning arrives. After a month of discipline, reflection, and quiet late-night prayers during Ramadan, the morning brings a sudden burst of energy. The rush to get ready, the text threads blowing up with family greetings, the smell of sweet desserts filling the house—it’s a beautiful chaos.
But amidst all the business, the true essence of the day always comes back to a few core things:
Shukr (Gratitude): Being deeply thankful for the small blessings we so often overlook—a warm meal, health, and a roof over our heads.
Connection: Reconnecting with people we haven't spoken to in months, proving that time and distance don't change real bonds.
Renewal: Carrying the patience and empathy we built over the last 30 days into the rest of the year.
Keeping the Spirit Alive
As the day goes on and we settle into the food comas and afternoon chats, I want to take a second to thank all of you for being a part of this little corner of the internet. Sharing my thoughts here on xqf thoughts has been incredibly rewarding, and having you read along is a blessing in itself.
May Allah accept all your prayers, your fasts, and your good deeds from the past month. Let’s make sure the kindness, generosity, and patience we practiced doesn't end today, but instead becomes a part of how we move through the rest of the year.
Eat well, laugh loud, and cherish the people next to you today.
